Oh my heck, what a trip! I got to Heathrow yesterday at about 7:30am and everything went well thank goodness. I am here with my English family feeling safe and sound in their comfortable home. Yesterday was Andrew's mom's birthday! After I rested a bit and caught up with everyone, including their adorable boxer Bess, we headed to a place called The Carvary, this restaurant is quintessentially English as pictured above and their meals are so yummy. They serve everything buffet style - turkey, gammon (ham) and roast beef with "veg" and potatoes. For "afters" we had cornish ice cream and after all our talking we turned our heads and the restaurant was empty - a perfect opportunity to take a picture!
Here are some pictures from May 18, 2012 ... I did some homework while Andrew was at work, went shopping at Morrison's with his mom (got some chocolate) and then slept for a few hours until he got back. Around midnight we left to pick up his brother Mathew at work in London (at the O2). I was very happy to see him and we had a laugh on the way home on the A2.
